Check your insurance coverage

Our clinicians are in-network with hundreds of insurance plans, including Aetna, Anthem, BlueCross BlueShield and UnitedHealthcare.

Our service costs depend on your insurance and if there is a deductible for menopause care. Most of our patients have a copay or coinsurance. Verify your insurance provider and coverage before scheduling a visit by completing a questionnaire.

If you are out-of-network you can get the care you need with self-pay – see below for costs.

We provide superbills to submit to your insurance and reimbursement is at your provider’s discretion. It can be as high as 80% if your plan has out of network benefits.

As a Stella patient, you get access to:

  • Virtual visits with in-network menopause specialists
  • FDA-regulated hormonal and non-hormonal treatments
  • Unlimited care coordination and referral support

After your first visit, you’ll also unlock the Stella app, which includes:

  • Unlimited wellness coaching with a certified coach
  • Symptom tracking and habit-building tools
  • Audio support including sleep stories and guided meditations
  • A growing library of menopause resources, from workouts and recipes to expert articles

Stella supports a wide range of symptoms across every stage of menopause. Our clinicians are trained to treat all 34+ recognised symptoms, including hot flashes, night sweats, sleep issues, anxiety, low mood, weight changes, brain fog, vaginal dryness, and more. Whether your symptoms are physical, emotional, or both, we’re here to help you find the right support.

Stella clinicians can prescribe both hormonal and non-hormonal treatments for menopause symptoms, depending on your health history, symptoms and preferences.

This may include FDA-approved hormone replacement therapy (HRT), like estrogen or progesterone, as well as non-hormonal options for sleep, mood, hot flashes and more. All prescriptions are tailored to your individual needs.

Not yet! But we hope to offer it in some states soon. If you’re interested in testosterone treatment, reach out to us at support@onstella.com to join our waitlist. We’ll let you know as soon as it’s available.

Absolutely. Medication is just one of the tools we offer—you’re always in control of your care.

If you prefer a non-medication approach, your Stella care plan can focus on lifestyle strategies, wellness coaching and evidence-based guidance to help you manage symptoms naturally. We’ll work with you to find what feels right for your body and your goals.

Yes! Stella clinicians are in-network with hundreds of insurance plans, so you can get expert menopause care covered by your benefits.

The average copay for a Stella visit is $45, but coverage varies by plan.

To see what your insurance includes, visit us.onstella.com/begin. Once you create an account, we’ll collect your policy details and provide an instant cost estimate.

Stella is also HSA/FSA eligible. If your plan isn’t in-network, we can provide a superbill for you to submit for reimbursement.

If you’re using insurance, your prescription costs depend on your plan and pharmacy. Most insurance plans cover FDA-approved hormonal and non-hormonal menopause treatments, but exact costs can vary.

You’ll be able to use your preferred pharmacy, and we’ll send prescriptions directly there after your visit. If you’re paying out of pocket, your clinician can help you find affordable options.

If your insurance isn’t in-network, you can still access expert menopause care with Stella:

  • Initial visit: $200
  • Follow-up visits: $90 each

We’ll provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, you could be reimbursed for up to 80%.

Stella clinicians are menopause specialists. While many general practitioners and OB/GYNs treat menopause, our team focuses exclusively on this stage of life—so you get expert care that’s up to date, personalized, and focused on your specific symptoms.

Not usually. The North American Menopause Society (NAMS) recommends diagnosing menopause based on your symptoms, age, and medical history, not hormone testing. That’s why most people don’t need lab work to get started with care at Stella.

Our online assessment and your virtual visit provide everything your clinician needs to understand what’s going on and build a personalized care plan. If lab work is ever recommended, your clinician will explain why and guide you through next steps.

“Being on HT really helps and we have the dose right now. The practitioner I spoke with was a good listener. I also like the app’s mindfulness tracks.”
